The oil filter filtration accuracy is between 10μ and 15μ, and its function is to remove impurities in the oil and protect the normal operation of the bearings and rotor. If the oil filter is clogged, it may cause insufficient oil injection, affect the life of the main engine bearing, increase the exhaust temperature of the head and even shut down. Therefore, we need to master the maintenance method in the process of use, so that its service life can be longer.
How to maintain the oil filter?
Work every 100h or within a week: clean the primary screen of the oil filter and the coarse screen on the oil tank. When cleaning, remove the filter element and brush off the dirt on the net with a wire brush. In the harsh environment, clean the air filter and oil filter frequently.
Every 500h: Clean the filter element and blow dry it. If the dust is very serious, clean the oil filter thoroughly to remove the dirt at the bottom of the deposit.
After the first 500 hours of operation of a new machine, the oil filter cartridge should be replaced. Use the special wrench to remove it. Before installing the new filter element you can add some screw oil, screw the filter element seal back onto the oil filter seat with both hands and tighten it.
Replace the filter element with a new one every 1500-2000 hours. You can change the oil filter element at the same time when you change the oil. Shorten the replacement time when the environment is harsh.
It is forbidden to use the oil filter element beyond the expiration date. Otherwise, the filter element will be severely clogged and the differential pressure will make the bypass valve open automatically, and a large amount of dirt and particles will enter the screw main engine directly with the oil, causing serious consequences.
